We have a vacancy for a Locality Co-ordinator to play a key role in supporting the delivery 
of Open Mental Health services across South Somerset. Working closely with the Locality Lead, the postholder will provide high-quality administrative and project support to ensure effective service delivery.

The role involves building strong relationships across the voluntary, statutory and community sectors, contributing to the development of Open Mental Health support in Somerset.

Sister charity to The Balsam Centre, The Growing Space helps people to improve their mental health through gardening, horticulture and getting into nature. It has a beautiful plot in the heart of Wincanton but operates across various sites in South Somerset.

With several recent successful grant applications and a clear plan for growth, The Growing Space is now looking for two new trustees to join its Board as it looks to the future.

Based in Wincanton, South Somerset Community Accessible Transport require part-time minibus drivers.

​

Hourly rate of pay is £13.68 including holiday pay (from 1 April 2025).

​

Hours are flexible but may involve some early morning, evening and weekend work.

​

Applicants must have a caring disposition and hold a full clean driver’s licence with D1 category.  Suitable applicants will be subject to minibus test and DBS checks.
