Short Walks

Every Tuesday at 10am, meeting on the ramp outside The Balsam Centre at 9.45am

These brisk one-hour walks aim to maintain or increase your general fitness. The average walking pace is about 3 mph but we offer you the option after approximately half an hour of walking back with a leader at a slower pace if you prefer.


The walk follows pavements, paths and tracks around Wincanton and the surrounding fields and includes some inclines. No need to book to join the walk (just meet at 9.45am on the ramp outside the Centre) but please register with us first if you are a new walker by completing the simple online form below. Paper copies of the form are available from reception if preferred.
